Your digital story reminded me of...well the beer drinking attitude would definitely remind me of my father.
Your family is different /or/ similar to mine because... different, not as many free spirits or proud Irish heritage.
If you were to do this story again you should... I have three concerns, one being very minor. The music to me didn't seem to fit the mood. I'm thinking something more like an Irish drinking tune or at least something for Celtic, because beer drinking and hell-raising seem to be a solid theme, and I just wasn't getting that from the music choice. The other is some of the font and pictures look grainy compared to the others. I'm not sure why on the font, I know some pictures are lower resolution you will find then others, but the font usually stays the same throughout. Maybe you can tweak that? The minor concern is spelling on one slide, I figure you meant 'Black Rose Petal' not 'Pedal'. I thought there maybe a later biker reference, but since there wasn't one, I figured it must be an error. Regardless, I did enjoy it, it was refreshing from the norm.
What I liked best about your story is... This definitely stands as the more abstract piece I have viewed. I applaud for originality.
Your story reminded me of- Speaking on the drinking side of story..a few ornery times I had during my teenage years!

If you were to do this story again you should- The only thing I saw was that you could possibly pick music that doesn't have such fast pace maybe? And also maybe add some pictures of yourself!? Other than that, very nice job!

Your digital story reminded me of...my brother. Many of the slides--particularly the Irish Heritage pride slides are just how my brother acts/thinks.
Your family is different /or/ similar to mine because...our heritage is the same, but to be honest I didn't know what half the slides in your story meant. That is NOT a bad thing!! I was really intrigued by everything you put in there, but I've had no exposure to some of it. This is why I think this type of assignment is so cool. It lets us see how different we can be while being from the same region.
If you were to do this story again you should...maybe choose a different song other than flight of the bumblebee. It didn't really fit the focus of the slides as far as I could gather.

Hi! Your digital story actually reminded me of one of my old roommates-- she was (and is) very proud of her Irish heritage and tries to pursue it regularly. It was very interesting because it was done so differently than the others that I've seen so far, and that isn't always a bad thing. =)
I was kind of confused in the beginning because of all the pictures with no real reference point to why they represent you, but that's probably just because they are unfamiliar to me. Like the others I agree that a different style of music would probably fit better.
Our families sound very different in beer drinking and aggressive personalities (we're a bit more passive aggressive), but I'm related to a lot of coal miners as well. It's definitely a prominent theme in a lot of people's lives in this area.
